Post-pubescent persons have a great capacity to learn abstract material; all that is necessary to open that potential is to motivate them. I do not specialize in that motivation. I do, however, excel at taking a puzzled student and explaining the difficult material in a way that makes sense to him or her. For just over a decade I have been involved in some form of peer education or mentoring. As a senior in high school, I tutored students in mathematics and science.
