During the last 10 years I have worked with all levels of students, preschool through college levels. These areas include reading, math, english, psychology, science and social studies. My teaching style is based on the student’s learning style. Each child is different and may require different teaching methods to facilitate learning. Some children are more visual and may require more interactive exercises to learn. I do not believe in spoon-feeding information to children but taking the time to ensure that they fully grasped the concept of a problem and are able to think through a solution on their own. I will work to develop their critical thinking skills and will challenge them, so that they are not just passive learners but active participants in the cognitive process. A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching and engaging with people of all ages. Everyone learns in a different way, and it is kind of exciting to see how people think and try to connect with them. I believe that it is possible for anyone to learn; some people just have to take a different approach to get to their objective. I love the entire learning and teaching process, and I am pretty fond of people as well!
I can be helpful in math up through Algebra II, and have extensive knowledge of counseling, religious studies, writing, and have used accounting a bit in bookkeeping.
