I was able to tutor children on a weekday basis for about three hours a day. I tutored all subjects for kindergarten through second grade.

A Little Bit About Me...

Upon graduating from Columbia International University in 1980, I took a position at The King's Academy in West Palm Beach, Florida as the department head for the math tutoring department for elementary students. I stayed in that position for three years until I started a family. When my children became school age, I took a position at Dekalb Christian Academy in Atlanta, Georgia heading up the tutoring department and worked with elementary and high school students in various subjects. Upon leaving that positon in 1992, I became certified with the National Institute for the Learning Disabled. This certificate qualified me as an Educational Therapist. As a graduate of Mercer University, I have had the opportunity to work with students in many different grades while completing my many student teaching experiences. After graduating, I began working on my Master's Degree in Elementary Reading and Mathematics with Walden University. I am only two classes short of completing my degree and will have it finished up in a little over four months. I recently began tutoring students from grades 3 through 11 using the Wilson Reading System.
