At the Universtiy of Florida I began giving private guitar and music theory lessons. I found that I was well suited to teach beacause I am very patient and can relate information in a very efficient way. I went on to get my degree in television production and I am continuting my education with courses in digital music production. Working with children is also a strong suit of mine. I have three younger syblings and have done volunteer softball coaching as well as babysitting.

My teaching strategies became wholly adaptive, tailored to fit the dynamic needs of each grade-level, class, and student. It was common in my classroom to listen to a topical audio excerpt, add to a daily journal geared toward personal contemplation, work in small groups on assignments that enriched the day’s lesson, and participate in whole group, collaborative exercises that reinforced models and worked out unanswered questions.
