I have been a math tutor since 2006. I have tutored all kind of classes at Miami Dade college and Marshall University. I enjoy doing math and helping people who have difficulties figuring out how to solve certain problems. It all starts with the basics. If you master the basics, you should do fine in the subject. my first education I finished 1985 as civil engineer in Switzerland. After 2 years experience I was training supervisor for the apprentice and also project chief of smaller and bigger civil engineer projects. I brought this young people to the end of there education to get there diploma. At the same time I was part time teacher at the professional school for civil engineer in Luzern Switzerland. After a few years I decided to make my hobby to my profession and started a second education as motorcycle mechanic. after I finished this, I opened my own shop learning by doing. To learn a language (German) you have to talk, talk, talk as much as possible. Also reading is a good way to learn vocabulary and get the feeling for the word order.

I like to be fun. I don't want to be the teacher/tutor that nobody likes. I want kids to be excited to see me every day. I want to be the guy that 20 years from now, they look back on their lives and remember me and what I was able to do for them. Have never tutored anyone before aside from helping my younger sister with her homework. I completed high school with a 3.5 GPA and am currently preparing to start my 2nd year of community college. Math has always been my best subject. In 11th grade I was enrolled in Algebra II honors, I then took a pre-college algebra course in 12th grade, took a similar course my first semester of college, and then took college algebra. I learned to read when I was 3 or 4 which was earlier than most people I was around. I finished in 16th place in my 5th grade spelling bee finals. Would have gone farther but I mistook course for coarse.
