Experience Summary
I’m pursuing a degree as a Middle School Math Teacher. I’m currently working on my Basic Skills Exam for Teaching in Florida and expect to have it completed in the next two weeks. I previously attended SLCC in Utah where I took a lot of Math and Science classes related to Electrical Engineering. I landed a job with the Salt Lake Community College Math Dept. as a tutor and realized that I enjoyed teaching more than being an engineer.
Although I tutored mostly college students I have worked as a private tutor to various age levels from middle school to college age. I have aIso volunteered in the community to help with activities for the youth. My experience is anything from outdoors activities such as camping, hiking etc. to teaching classes on personal development.
I believe that anyone can learn math and love to help them achieve whatever goal they want. I look forward to hearing from you.
