I have dedicated the majority of my adult life to reaching and teaching others so that they may reach their potential. For the past thirty years, I have taught Sunday school, youth groups, theatre students, women's groups and most recently high school students in the Dakota Valley School District. I have a Master's degree in Secondary Education, certifications to teach Literature, German, English, Speech, Theatre, and middle school. I have also won many awards(South Dakota Teacher of the Year, Staff of the month (x5), a fellowship in Journalism, Who's Who among high school teachers, and a local VFW award for teaching citizenship in the schools). Following my education I served two years with AmeriCorps: The first year with the Minnesota ReadingCorps wherein I worked with under-achieving first graders and the second year with the National Civilian Community Corps wherein I traveled the American Southwest doing various service projects. I just graduated in May 2009 with my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and am currently working on obtaining my Masters Degree in Human Factors Psychology.
