My diverse academic career has provided me with a greater knowledge and understanding of Mathematics than many of my peers. I have taken numerous courses in Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and Exercise Science since I hold a B.S. in both Mathematics and Exercise Science. These classes have prepared me to teach a variety of complex topics.I have organized and taught many different classes in Mathematics and other subjects during my experiences with the Philadelphia Urban Seminar, and vacation bible schools. My studies have given me practical experience working with children of different abilities and readiness. I sincerely believe it is the teacher's responsibility to adapt lessons to the student's learning style. I strive to create connections to student past lessons and keep difficult concepts in easy, relative terms that simplify information for the student to digest.
