I have been tutoring students of all ages since I was in high school. I began by tutoring my own peers in math and social studies. I would also tutor children from 1st grade on up in all subjects. Once in college, I tutored college students and younger in many fields, primarily mathematics courses. My specialty quickly became preparation for standardized tests as well as calculus because I have a unique ability to discover how each student learns and tailor the lessons to their needs. I can quickly find where the knowledge gaps exist for each student and fill in those gaps, in order to create a complete understanding of the topic, not just get them to memorize answers. I am a high school senior and have been tutoring peers since middle school. Because I am so young I have very few official tutoring hours, however I do mentor freshmen through our highschool EAP program and younger girls through the STEM program. I work well with students in 6th grade and higher. My strong subjects are in math. I self-studied and tested out of Geometry as an 8th grader and am currently in AP Calc 2.
