I am attending school for early childhood degree. Working with children and others have always been apart of me. Throughout school I am always helping and tutoring someone. Teaching someone something that I already know and something they should know or what to know makes me happy. I substitute before and volunteer my time a lot with daycare, Boys and Girls Club, after school programs, and even at church. Creative Writing is one of my top subjects!

My teaching style is more hands on because that's how I learned fastest when I was in school.
I am going to school to become a teacher in the grades of kindergarten through 5th, I have been a nanny for several people and have enjoyed it completely! During my nanny duties, I would of course have a home-schooling section and would also help around the house when needed, so I think that I am a very good candidate for teaching basics and other subjects to help kids better themselves and their studies!

Creative Writing is one of my top subjects! In preparing my students for the end-of-year testing we explored topics both creative and non-fiction to incorporate structure, vocabulary choices and proof-reading skills.

I have a Bachelors Degree from the Univerity of Minnesota where I obtained my secondary teaching license. I taught ninth grade English for eight years in Morris, Minnesota and focused heavily on writing, grammar, speech and the Renaissance. When we moved to Raleigh, I taught 7th grade Language Arts at Fred J. Carnage Middle School for two years.
