I have a lot of experience in teaching and tutoring. I have tutored for about 10 years now, starting with my fellow classmates while still in school and now tutoring one-on-one, mostly for elementary-aged children. I also teach - I conduct a teenage choir, taught at a Ukrainian school for 7 years (grammar, writing, reading, vocabulary), and give individual piano lessons. I've worked with many high schoolers and even college students taking French. I've helped them build vocabulary and exercise speaking with a native French speaker. I've helped them mimic the sounds that I'm making and give them tactics and memorizing skills to remembering things that they're having a tough time with. In Social Studies I create rhymes to remember locations for Geography. I put the history lessons into a literal short story and give them tools to remember cetain events. I have been tutoring students of all ages since I was in high school. I began by tutoring my own peers in math and social studies. I would also tutor children from 1st grade on up in all subjects. Once in college, I tutored college students and younger in many fields, primarily mathematics courses.
