Experience Summary
I am currently a seniour at the University of Kentucky, and hope to graduate with a Political Science degree at the end of the summer of 2013. I have studied History, Political Science, and the Russian Language for nearly five years. I have had a deverse array of training in each of these areas. In History, I have training in European, particulalry German, Colonial American, Latin American and Byzantine history. In Political Science, I have training in the basics of American government, Comparative Politcs, Political Theory, Foreign Policy, International Organization, Campaigns and Elections, Congress, National Security, and Foreign Policy. I have four and a half years of training in the Russian Language, including some training in translating and interpreting. I can speak it around the level of a 14 or 15-year old, and can read and write in it even better. Over the last several years, I have gained great practice and refinement as an analytical and critical writer, I can argue effectively, clearly, and coherently, while also basing my claims on thourough research that has the proper citations. I also make great strides to educate myself when I can, which serves to augment all of the aforementioned specialty areas that I focus on. While I lack any formal experience as a teacher, I believe that for tutouring those who are struggling in these fields, I am more than capable.
