I have never officially taught, but I have been told by my peers that they believe I would have some skill at it. Mostly, my teaching style would involve working through problems or homework step by step with a student at first, and then once they gain more confidence, allowing them to do more work on their own. Like learning to ride a bike, I believe that almost anything can be taught this way. I have studied Spanish for 6 years now. I am confident in my speaking, listening and writing skills. My reading skills are a little weaker than the rest of my skills. I spent a couple weeks in Spain and Mexico, not studying but certainly using my language skills. I will be certified to teach K-12. I truly enjoy helping children reach their full potential. I believe that children who don't understand a subject just haven't had it explained to them in their way of learning and I believe I can find their way.
