My style involves asking key/critical/opened-ended questions to guide the tutee towards ways of improving his or her writing skills, grammar, and arguments/critical thinking content so that (s)he can write at his or her optimal level.
I intensively studied English Literature at the University of California, Berkeley (whose Literature Program is rated 2nd in the U.S., only behind Yale) and graduated with honors, summa cum laude in 2003. In my final year earning a Bachelor's degree, I completed an honors thesis (entitled "Erotism and Death in Italian Postmodern Literature and Film") for which I received an "A."
