I believe that practice makes perfect. I have materials for the above classes and I have been editing papers for people since I was in the 7th grade. As a journalism student, my grammar and punctuation are impeccable. Proofreading is one of my specialties.
I am a college sophomore at the University of Missouri-Columbia. I am pursuing Bachelor's degrees in Journalism and Art History. My expertise is in English, history, and art, but I also have experience tutoring in French up to high school French III. I received a 35 and 36 on the English and Reading portions of the ACT, respectively. My style involves asking key/critical/opened-ended questions to guide the tutee towards ways of improving his or her writing skills, grammar, and arguments/critical thinking content so that (s)he can write at his or her optimal level.
