I believe one must be very creative when teaching children because not all children learn the same way and accel at the same rate. I love working with children of all ages. I am organized, patient, and understanding. I realize that in order for a student to grasp a concept they must have the right environment and teaching approach suited for them, and I am willing to be flexible with these ideas.

A Little Bit About Me...

I started college with the intention of becoming an elementary school teacher. I completed all coursework at Chadron State College Chadron, NE with the exception of my professional semester. I graduated college in the summer of 1985 with two Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in Guidance/Counseling and the other in Recreation. I worked as a certified teacher in the state of Florida in an alternative school for emotionally disturbed/behavior disordered boys. I have 4 children and I have home schooled all of them to varying degrees. Currently I am home schooling my youngest two children and they are in the 11th grade. I enjoy teaching all subjects but am partial to mathematics, history and grammar.
