I believe a child can learn any subject put before him/her. With the belief that a child can learn, it is my challenge to find out what style of learning best fits each child being tutored. When teaching I take the time to present materials one way, and if the student doesn't comprhend I will present it another way. My goal is to help each student meet his or her potential.
I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2006 wiht a degree in Psychology. While attending USM I taught a combined class Of 3rd And 4th grades. for the past 16 years I have tutor Reading, Math, History, and basic science to children in my family and community. I have always had a passion for working with and teaching children. I tend to have a facilitator teaching style by focusing on student-centered learning and activities. I am aware of all different learning styles and gladly accommodate them when working with different children. A Little Bit About Me...

I just enrolled in a Post-Masters Certification program that focuses in Literacy K-12. In August of 2006, I graduated from Lesley University with a Master’s of Education. In May of 2004, I received my Bachelors of Arts Degree from Merrimack College with a major in Psychology and a minor in Elementary Education. I hold my Massachusetts, Mississippi, and New Hampshire Teacher’s license for grades one through six. We just moved to Biloxi, MS in October because my husband is active duty military. Our previous station before Biloxi, MS was actually overseas in the United Kingdom where I substituted for the Elementary School on base.
