A Little Bit About Me...

I am a junior English major and Religious Studies minor at Rhodes College. I graduated from Harding Academy ('09), a school well known for its strong English department. The past two summers I have worked at Harding's summer camp as a counselor for first and second graders, so patience is definitely a trait that I have come to learn and appreciate. Being an English major, I am strong in areas concerning reading, writing, and grammar. A Little Bit About Me...

I worked as a tutor coordinator for the YMCA tutoring children from the ages of 12-16. I helped them in basic studies to ensure that they had a grade of a C or better. My goal is to open up an after school program so that I can help students who may need tutoring after school get the grades that they need to pass on to the next level. Working with children is one of my passions and I hope that one day I can help them more, especially to succeed in school.
I love working with children. I have 3 of my own and I am currently studying for a Master of Science in Higher Education so that I can teach.
