My comments on tutoring Shakespeare : Shakespeare's written expressions, poetry, and drama uses eloquent words, old English terms, and very puzzling words that needs analysis of his message. Students enjoy Shakespeare's works once they acquired the skills in interpreting his message. some of his stories, poems , and drama are focused on horrible thoughts and justice such as "The Raven", "The Death of a Salesman", and "The Merchant of Venice".

I started teaching right after my college graduation from Philippine Normal University. I taught ESL (English as A Second Language in public schools from 1968 - 1985. From 1985 - 1991 I taught at the United States Refugee Program. On October 1991 I was sent by the US Refugee Program to University of Omaha, Nebraska as a guest lecturer on ESL. Then I worked as a tutor in English Business for foreign professionals in Connecticut from December 1991 - 1995. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is quite organized, but also empathetic. I allow for students to use their various aptitudes and abilities to learn. For example, when a student normally presents a report to the class, that student reads from his notes. I had one student who was musically inclined and played her guitar to make her presentation. She used her musical skills quite effectively.
I am currently certified in the state of Arizona in the following subjects: English, Latin and general sciences. I teach two courses of Latin at Glendale Community College, Glendale, Arizona. One class is in the classroom and the other is on the Internet. I also am a substitute teacher in Peoria, Arizona.

I began tutoring in elementary school. I tutored students in grades below mine in reading, spelling, grammar, math, and science. I continued tutoring fellow students in high school, as well as teaching children as a church volunteer. After studying the administration of justice and evidence technology at Phoenix College, I finished my BS at University of Phoenix. While earning my degree, I used the knowlege and skills I have gained to help struggling students succeed as well.
