I am drawn to education by the enjoyment of children and I am often requested as a substitute teacher because of my calm demeanor, patience and kindness with all children. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated with a BS in history in 1996. After nearly seven years working for a large communications corporation I returned to college to get my teaching credentials. I completed a years student teaching and have taught middle school and high school at a local private school. At that school I often tutored students, offered help on my own time, and was the monitor of the school's study hall, Homework Club. Since 2009 I have taught adults at a local technical college. I am proud to say I have dedicated my life and time to students of ages 5-62.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have recently graduated from Regis University. At Regis,along with institutional lessons, they taught me life lessons as well. I honorably graduated in May on 2009 with a BA in English and a minor in Business Administration. I was taught linguistically and grammatically in my studies at Regis. I understand easy mistakes one can make, and mistakes that are hard to see and understand by just reading a paragraph. Due to the fact that I was an English major I spent most of my time writing essays and lengthy papers, only to have them returned revised and had to re-write them noticing my own mistakes along the way. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always enjoyed working with children and knew I would want a career working with kids to help enhance their futures. While still in high school, I worked after-school tutoring elementary age students in a wide variety of subjects. After working with that tutoring program for some months I filled in the position of head tutor and was in charge of assigning students to tutors and overseeing the overall running of the after-school program. After receiving my BS in Psychology I worked as an Educational Assistant in a special education class at a middle school (grade 6-8) in Hawaii.
