I have always enjoyed working with children and knew I would want a career working with kids to help enhance their futures. While still in high school, I worked after-school tutoring elementary age students in a wide variety of subjects. After working with that tutoring program for some months I filled in the position of head tutor and was in charge of assigning students to tutors and overseeing the overall running of the after-school program. After receiving my BS in Psychology I worked as an Educational Assistant in a special education class at a middle school (grade 6-8) in Hawaii. I have recently graduated from Regis University. At Regis,along with institutional lessons, they taught me life lessons as well. I honorably graduated in May on 2009 with a BA in English and a minor in Business Administration. I was taught linguistically and grammatically in my studies at Regis. I earned all A's in my graded graduate courses at Teachers College, Columbia University. I believe this reflects my ability to study, learn, research and write research papers.
