I have worked as a Tutor, Assistant Teacher, and did a short placement as an Interim Teacher. I can easily adjust to changing environments that will best suit the student’s potential. A Little Bit About Me...

Coming from a family with no prior college education, I made it a point to not only graduate from a four-year university but to work as hard as I could to be the best at what I do. I accomplished what I have set out to do by graduating with a degree at both institutes I attended with a GPA above 3.0. I have tutored my younger brother for several years in the four major subjects. I also worked in high school as a teaching aid for a 4th grade class at Jefferson Elementary School and actually taught math and science to the class. This proved too far from home, and the teaching market had a glut so found other work. also took graduate course work in mostly reading. In 2004 worked as reading remediation instructor for Mesa Public Schools in Arizon for 3 years. At same time worked after school for Camp Fire Girls and Boys in the Phoenix doing Math and Reading remediation. I taught 2nd grade for 2007-8 school year and 1st grade from Sept-Dec. of 2008.
