My comments on tutoring Reading Comprehension : I have a Masters in Teaching in English which includes extensive experience in Reading instruction for a wide range of readers including students with dyslexia. I have classroom-tested, hands-on reading strategies to engage and encourage reluctant and struggling readers to make sense of the text.

I have taught 6th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students. I expect hard work and dedication. I use classroom-tested teaching strategies that include but are not limited to role-play, reader-response, kinesthetic and tactile movement, drawing, and holistic engagement in the "story-world" to help students understand and connect to the literature. I am a second year student at the Universtiy of Georgia. I taught private violin lessons to middle schoolers from the fall of 2010 through the summer of 2011, and I myself have received seven years of private instruction. I have experienced numerous auditions, concerts, and other performances, as well as traveled with my high school chamber orchestra to Washington, D.C. and Savannah, Georgia. During the summer of 2012, I tutored Korean adults in the mechanics of English, including proper pronunciation, grammar, and conversational phrases.
