My comments on tutoring Anatomy : I recently took A and P I and II, and did very well in both sections

I think that I am very clear and concise in my explanations of concepts. I am also very good at explaining concepts in multiple ways. So if a student doesn't get how to do a problem using one method, I can go over another approach. I'm a good listener.
I have been teaching math since 8/2000. I first began teaching in a large urban district and then switched to teaching in a private school. I have taught math at both the high school and middle school levels. The subjects I have taught include algebra I and II, geometry, AP Calculus AB,and middle school math. As a Mad Scientist, I learned how to make learning science fun. I like to spend a session with my students learning their background and their learning style. My students have always appreciated my ability to look at problems and subjects from different angles. I like to use every day metaphors for teaching math problems and also try to teach students how to use a "process of elimination" style. For example, it is easier to identify whether or not an object is a cell phone by picking out one trait that a cell phone has and determining if the object has that trait rather than describing all the traits of the object and then determining if it is a cell phone.
