I've tutored two kids in my neighborhood for 40 buck every two weeks. It was a marvelous experience because they were very respectful young boys...majority of the time. It was kind of hard for them to keep their focus so i drew a plan which was rewarding them with candy and toys, and of course since it was my idea I didn't charge extra. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to tutor them anymore because had to move with my mother. All in all, no matter the task I will always try my best to achieve!!!

I love to see the light-bulb go on inside as children grasp material they are struggling with. At first, I teach and watch to see their facial expressions and comprehension in order to figure out what they are struggling with. Then, I approach the topic from a different way, tailored to their specific struggles. I continue to reassess their comprehension and approach the topic from different angles until I break through. Take algebra, for example. Often times, students struggle with having to "show their work." The long process required to get to the answer becomes confusing. I find that a simpler, shorter process is comprehended well. So, I start with this. This is the way all of my football coaches did things each year, they taught football stance at the beginning of August no matter the player's experience. Some students find this condescending but it usually progresses fast enough to reach their skill level without offending. I have always found that starting at the bottom prevents misunderstanding as you build toward the top.
