This allows the student to develop their own sense of logic when approaching problems so that when test time comes, they will be able to ask themselves questions similar to what I ask during tutoring sessions and help figure out the answer step by step. My comments on tutoring Geometry : High School Geometry

I'm am a current college student at Nebraska Wesleyan University. I graduated from Malcolm High School with high honors (3.948 GPA) and I currently have a 3.6 GPA (I've found college is a little harder than high school). I received only 5 B+'s in my high school career and the rest were A's. I was on the honor role my entire high school career. I participated in choir, band, cheer/dance, and drama and was in National Honors Society. I received many awards for academics and my extra curricular activities.
I don't really have a teaching style because I have never been an actual tutor before. But, I love helping people and I always helped my friends with homework, especially in math. My comments on tutoring Geometry : Geometry is a fun subject because of the hands-on applications and variety of visual/interactive lessons that can accompany the topics. I briefly taught high school geometry, and I can also work with college-level axiomatic proof-based geometry.

My career path has winded around quite a bit but always focuses on computer science and math education. My education experience has included tutoring freelance, tutoring on USD's payroll, leading group study sessions, providing supplemental instruction for university coursework, leading workshops at a computer camp, writing workshops for that camp, and ultimately teaching math full time in a high school. I first teach my student what the strings are in standard tuning, letting them know what they're playing on. And then I'll teach them the basic chords. The next step of the teach program is to teach them notes as well as other chords. After they get the chords and the notes progression, I'll teach them the scales and solos.
After taking one and a half years of guitar training, I believe that I can offer my students with the materials they need to play their favorite songs with the chords and strumming, as well as learning and coming up with new solos based on the theories that I teach them.
