Besides being a baby sitter for more than a decade (born to a big family with 3 younger siblings), I've tutored children of families in the Inglewood/LA area for more than a year. I have a total of 7 years of teaching experience. From 2010-2013, I worked as an enrichment counselor for the Pomona Unified School District. This job required me to create lesson plans and manage a class of 20 students for 3 hours a week, 5 days a week. From 2013-2015, I worked for the Chino Unified School District's AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program. In this job, I offered life readiness and college readiness skills and tutored various common core subjects to groups of 5 Jr. high and high school students.
