In January of 2012, I gained teaching experience as a part-time English instructor for Korean exchange students (ages ranging from 13 to 17 years old). My responsibility for this job was to provide the students with appropriate exercises and assignments to assist them in improving their English reading skills. I also gave lessons in vocabulary and assignments to help them better understand the proper usage of the vocabulary words. These assignments also served to teach the students about American culture and traditions. In March of 2013, I received my MA in English from CSU, Bakersfield. I also published my first thesis.
