I enjoy working with and teaching all levels of students and children. No two children learn in the same way. It is important to differentiate and identify the way that each child needs to be taught and engaged in the lesson. Lessons must be concrete and meaningful to a child. If things are taught to them in a way and on a level that they can grasp any child can be taught. It is important to me that each child be given an opportunity to learn. It is nice to be remembered as the teacher that changed the way a child feels about school and learning from a negative to a positive experience.

I enjoy earnest and humble students, learning with and from them. I feel uncomfortable not learning laterally as well as vertically, seeing that to be knowledgeable, one must not just memorize but ruminate on what was memorized, making as many lateral connections as expedient. I have a great deal of customer service experience working for both M&T Bank and Key Bank. I excelled in Reading and English subjects throughout school, reading multiple grade levels ahead of myself. I was a writer for Nardin Academy's newspaper and also for Canisius College's newspaper. I have teaching experience in home instruction in flute and piano.
I love teaching and helping children learn. My philosophy is that you have to make this information that your children are learning relatable to what they are going through. A Little Bit About Me...

I use all the main teaching tools. Both hands on and visually for those students who need different tools. I love to interact with children and adults helping them through their classes to better their future. I also enjoy having a hand in their future success. I truely believe that a great teacher is one who teaches for the greater growth of their pupils and personally I strive to help them succeed.
As an Honor roll student, a student on the Dean's list I was lucky to have graduated early. I taught six graders through opelia. I have also tutored a master's Student through her Statistics. Currently tutoring a student via online on her Senior Algebra for her Liberal Arts degree. I will hold a BA degree come december of 2010. Where I then plan to student teach and obtain a teaching certification.
