In having a science background, I have not only learned laboratory skills and reasoning skills, but I have learned how to increase efficiency, communicate in a clear manner, and write in a way that is direct and clear. I enjoy learning, and I instill that passion into my students as best I can. I grew up with a mom who is an English teacher, so I have developed good communication skills and writing skills from her. ALways praise the student and point his or her strong abilities and plus tell the student they can do this assignment. First I let the student try the assignment and then I will jump in and help.
