I am a PhD student at Indiana University in the department of Germanic Studies. I have a BA in German and psychology, an MA in German, and am currently writing my dissertation. I have taught German at the university for two years. I have extensive experience in academic writing and have published two articles. I have also worked as a tutor in the Athletic Department, tutoring in the areas of French, English, and psychology. I have a fun, creative approach to teaching. I try to engage my students in learning by helping them relate the subject matter to their own experience and interests. I am very patient but persistent.

When children scribble with crayons they are exploring many concepts of art and aesthetics. Gardner describes the idea of multiple intelligences. Everyone is good at some aspects of learning and less so in others. Children learn in many different ways. I have a degree and a K-3rd teaching certificate with a reading endorsement in early childhood education from Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio. I also have a five
