I've been teaching for about 7 years in high school, both in the public and private sector. I taught for 5 years at Vashon High School and 1 year at Incarnate Word Academy. Subjects were Biology related in both settings. While teaching there I recieved my certification as well as a Master's degree in Education from UMSL. Before being downsized at IWA, I received my Master's in Biology from Washington University. This past spring semester I taught both major and non-major Biology, a full time overload schedule at East Central College in Rolla, MO. I have taught elementary school for 16 years. One year in the Lincoln Country School District and 15 years in the Rockwood School District. I have taught grades 1,2,3 and 5. I served as grade level chair in each grade level, on all subject area commitees, and as teacher's representative to the PTO. I have tutored students for the before and after school program.
