Experience Summary
While obtaining my Bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri, along with being a competitive gymnast, I worked for the Total Person Program in the atheltic department tutoring and mentoring student-athletes in many subjects. I have a passion for working with children and watching them learn, grow, and succeed at tasks. I have 10 years experience coaching gymnastics and working with children from infant to high school age. I believe my love for helping children, my education, and tutoring and mentoring experience would make me a great fit for helping your child succeed.
Teaching Style
I feel that all children have the capacity to learn but may not always thrive in a typical classroom setting. They may feel lost or intimidated in a large class and are not able to speak up and express their questions or concerns. Individualized attention through tutoring can give the child confidence in the classroom, but also in everyday life.
I am a very patient and caring person who is genuinely interested in the progress and success of children. I believe all children can thrive with the proper instuctions, surroundings, and attention. I will be able to provide your child with what they need to learn material and gain confidence.
