Issued By - The College of The Ozarks - Work Study Program - Point Lookout, MO. My certification is currently expired in my Elementary Education, but I do hold certification as a Substitute Teacher in the State of MO. I homeschooled two children from preschool through 12th grade graduation and completion of high school. During college, I worked as a Teaching Assistant at Duquesne University for 4 years. There I helped to teach the Pharmaceutics Principles Lab to professional Pharmacy Students. Outside of college, I have recently taught math, science and geography to middle school students.

A Little Bit About Me...

I first became interested in tutoring college. Then I started teaching both chemistry and math at both high school and college levels over the years. I have also been involved in conducting labs for undergraduate students at all level in the department of chemistry. I have worked with research intuitions like the Department of Science and Technology at the Ministry of Education Republic of Liberia. As a student at Grinnell College, I was motivated to achieve at a high level. During my four years of college, I earned a BA in French and Biology. I also spent four months during my third year studying in France, where I lived with a host mother and attended classes at a local university. Currently, I am working toward earning my Master's Degree in Education at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. I like to learn be examples which are real world examples. I do strongly believe in constructive learning too. I do have patient and easy going style. I believe children can meet all of their potential if they are given appropriate opportunities.
I have an Associate of Arts degree from Kemper plus a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Central Missouri State University and I am pursuing an Accounting degree. All of this has given a strong mathematical and scientific background in which I can tutor in courses such as statistics.
