Before that I had been working as a Graduate teaching assistant in the department of Physics, New Mexico State University, where I taught integrated Lab physics courses to both physics and non – physics majors. A Little Bit About Me...

Since I have tutored for several years, I've found that every person learns slightly differently. The key to how I teach is to figure out how that person best learns. There is no such thing as a stupid person, just one who hasn't been taught in a way that they can understand yet. I am a firm believer in never giving up on someone, particularly when I know that they can do it. Most just need a little help and encouragement to figure out that they ARE smart and they CAN do it, and that's what I'm here for.

I am a very relaxed person and possess an easy going teaching style. I consider myself very approachable and encourage those I am tutoring to ask questions. I specialize in math and biology and am able to teach to students with varying aptitudes in these subjects. My math teaching style consists of working practice problems and teaching different ways of solving problems since each student is different, not the same method works for each student. In science I try to relate the subject in terms of everyday life. I am very extroverted and always want people to feel comfortable around me.
