Speak, make mistakes, and learn

I have spent 6 years in college and have a bachelors degree in Spanish from Stetson University. I have gone on two study abroad programs to Madrid, Spain and traveled all around the country. Spent a total of six months there. Through this immersion I have learned to blend in with the natives and aquired great language skills in the subject. One of the things I have learned which is very important is that you must not be afraid to make mistakes because it is the greatest way to learn a language. Since the age of 11 I knew that I am a born teacher. and even coming from a doctors family in the 5th generation nobody could tell me anything different than that I have to be with children and work as a teacher. I think it is possible to achieve a goal for the group of children in the classroom but also to find the individual optimum for every person/child.

I have earned BA & MA in English as a second(foreign) language. Age of my students varied from 6years old through 60+. I have been teaching at Elementary and Secondary schools, and also at the universities in this country and abroad (Ukraine, Saudi Arabia).
