I graduated from high school in 2011 with special honors and as co-valedictorian. I am now attending the University of Mississippi where I am majoring in accountancy and minoring in business. My passion is writing, so naturally that is what I do best. Every year, I am contacted by numerous students from my high school and also my classmates at Ole Miss about proofreading their papers. I have also worked with helping students study for math classes, including but not limited to pre-algebra and algebra. My best subjects have always been English and math, but I am efficient in all high school level courses with the one exception of science, which has always been my weakness. My teaching style will depend on the students learning style. I do not have experience with tutoring, but I have had College English Comp. I and II. My teacher I had was very strict about spelling, grammar, etc. She wrote a grammar book and helped write a couple other books, so she was pretty strict about everything we done. I made an A+ in English Comp. I my first semester of college and made a B+ my second semester of college.

My background is fairly well-rounded. In high school I went to the Governor's School for Science and Mathematics (GSSM) and tutored high school students in the community in math and reading, as well as ESL. Also, part of the GSSM curriculum required students to do summer research at a 4-year institution in South Carolina. I did behavioral neuroscience research at USC. My interests then lead me to attend USC for college, and I went there for two years with a double major: English and Psychology. After a while, I found that research was not my life passion, and I transferred to Clemson University and changed my major to Animal and Veterinary Science, with the hope of going to veterinary school.
