My life has been changed by art. As a child I took art lessons and learned that creativity is much more than making art. Creativity is a way to train your mind to think outside the box. Creativity can be applied to communicating and problem solving in many areas. I come from a family of educators. As a member of the Art Alliance I mentored fellow students on their work and helped them create a cohesive body of work and their artistic voice. My teaching license was in art educ./K-12. I was a member of The Gamma Beta Phi Society, the top 15% of my class. My gpa was 3.2 and I won two scholarships. I did my student teaching at the Lebanon High and at the Las Cassas Elementary Schools in fall 1997. I taught art at Mt. A Little Bit About Me...

As my experience at college drew to a close, I found that the most rewarding activities I participated in were centered on education. I am a lifelong learner, and I love participating with others in the learning process. I set a relaxed atmosphere that fosters the students drive to ask questions and seek answers. I am comfortable with taking control of a session and speaking throughout (Lecture) or allowing the student to come up with their areas of difficulty and ask questions (Synthesis).
