I am available to teach the following subjects: math, science, ancient history, paleontology, archaeology, writing, mythology, reading music, musical instruments/basic beginner classes (guitar, violin, mandolin, banjo, dulcimer), Visual arts (drawing, painting, sculpture, graphic arts, fashion design), gardening, herbs, horseback riding, and more. I am a firm believer in teaching by allowing the student to be more interactive - more hands on. I have a long working history since College in accounting and Finance. Areas include Banking, Health Care Accounting, and freelance accounting/bookkeeping. I currently hold an Associates of Science Degree in Accounting as well a a Bachelors degree in Commercial design and mass communications. I have experience as a part time instructor for the Insurance Department at MTSU in Murfreesboro.
I am a good communicator and have the ability to present learning material for a wide range of ages. My goal is to make teaching fun and exciting through learning activities and visual presentation. As a parent myself,I know the value of helping people of all ages meet their educational goals.

I hold a Bachelors degree in fine arts with a Painting emphasis and a double minor in Sculpture and Political Science. Both were received from Middle Tennessee State University. I was a senior member of the Middle Tennessee State University Student Art Alliance. I coordinated art exhibitions and judged works also planning gallery field trips and a tour of New York City to see the major art museums. I taught a semester as student teacher for the Model United Nations course. My home is full of art books new and old. I am an avid reader who studies new artists and believes in continuous study to hone my mind and craft.
