My comments on tutoring Speaking : Have presented numerous times in front of large audiences (250+ people), as well as small groups. Have lots of ideas for managing performance anxiety.

I use the didactic teaching style, trying to keep teaching/education engaging and fun. Rather than talking AT the student, I explore WITH the student the subject at hand. Sometimes the round-about way is the most direct way to solve the problem.

SOAR Study skills Group Sessions coming Spring 2013

After earning my Bachelors degree in Education in 1988 I taught GED,ESL,ABE, and advised law students while running the library.
