A Little Bit About Me...

Russian language is my native language. I consider that any intelligent educated person should know at least English, French and German to be able to read Dumas,Shakespeare, Heine in the original. Learning foreign languages was my hobby and became my second profession as patent searcher and analyzer in addition to my technical degree. As to teaching, it is my calling. I developed and designed the Urdu curriculum at Baku State University myself, and the undergraduates and graduate students I trained went on to become diplomats, translators, medical interpreters, and language teachers. I went from the Boston Public Schools to Commonwealth School and then Wellesley College, and would have been lost, early on, without help from tutors. I majored in English and Russian and work with several communities for whom English is not their first language.
