A Little Bit About Me...

Russian language is my native language. I consider that any intelligent educated person should know at least English, French and German to be able to read Dumas,Shakespeare, Heine in the original. Learning foreign languages was my hobby and became my second profession as patent searcher and analyzer in addition to my technical degree. As to teaching, it is my calling. And now I'm trying to inspire Russian adults to learn English. to Teaching is my calling.

As a graduate of Yale University, I recognize the value of education for the generation of young people who will soon run our country. For the past year, I have tutored students in a wide variety of subject areas: English, History, Geometry, Biology, Spanish, French, and SAT prep. As a professor at Baku State University, I offered courses in foreign languages, linguistics, research methodologies, and pedagogical methods in language teaching. I developed and designed the Urdu curriculum at Baku State University myself, and the undergraduates and graduate students I trained went on to become diplomats, translators, medical interpreters, and language teachers. I also provided intensive private tutoring to government officials and academics who needed to learn the Russian and Azeri languages: my clients included the Indian ambassador to Azerbaijan.
