I am a recent graduate from Miami University. I have a degree in Adolescent/Young Adult Social Studies Education and my teaching certification is currently pending. I have over 60 credit hours completed towards a degree in music. My focus as a music student was voice, but I also spent a lot of time studying African American music. My comments on tutoring Spanish : I teach Spanish level I at Grove City High School but am qualified to teacher higher levels as well. I like to teach using interactive tools like conversation and games to make learning fun and encourage students to use the language in everyday situations.

At Grove City High School I teach using the textbook series "¡Así se Dice!", but I can adapt tutoring to each student's needs based on his or her classroom materials and level of Spanish.
I am a second year Spanish teacher at Grove City High School where I teach Spanish Level I. While I teach high school students I am certified to teach grades PK-12 so I am able to help younger and older students as well. I can also tutor students in higher levels of Spanish. A Little Bit About Me...

When I first attended Wilmington College, I was in early childhood education. I completed a whole semester of student teaching and volunteered for tutoring after school. I finally had decided that teaching was not for me because I wanted more of an office setting job so i decided to major in business management. I have decided that I want to pursue in subsitute teaching so that I am able to help children and spend more time with my newborn.
Nothing is better than seeing a huge smile on a child's face once they cath on to something. I love helping children learn by doing a lot of visual activities and practicing! I was always the only person who could help my younger sister study for tests because she said my teaching techinique is very helpful and makes her remember things. It always made me feel good knowing i was the only one who could help her study!
