My teaching style centers around the idea that every kid learns differently. Some understand pictures better some words. Either way someone learns, they stay focused through fun, enthusiastic teaching. Ironically I believe its not always a childs intelligence level that holds them back, its often more the attention the receive from teachers and the style that they filter through. A Little Bit About Me...

As both a teacher and a counselor I have worked to develop a teaching style that is student focused. In order to do that I want to inspire and challenge the student to reveal their abilities and interests and track them as they develop. The student and I will set specific goal areas with attainable steps, so that we can both check the progress. With a thorough knowledge of the material along with good organization, the process of learning can be creative and lively for both the student and the teacher.
After high school I achieved a BS from George Peabody College for teacher, however did not teach for money until many years later after I received my MS.
