I attended the University of North Dakota for 4 years and in that time received a BA in Anthropology which has provided me the experience and knowledge of helping people in holistic ways. I now attend graduate school to obtain an MS in Applied Anthropology. As a tutor I have discovered that everyone learns differently; therefore, I try to find ways to adapt my own tutoring style to the learning styles of the people I tutor. I can be more hands-on if the student requires it, but I can also act as more of a general guide. I believe that it is important for the students to be in charge of the sessions, so I try my best to take my cues from them.
