A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching is a wonderful experience! My teaching style is laid-back, I'd say. I like having conversations in order to determine how someone learns. I think people learn best when discussing the material and really think it out before they start creating something. Guiding a student down the path of their own learning style is important because they will need those skills in the future when they go off to college or start a career on their own. I will provide students with the tools they need to succeed today and in the future!
I attended the University of North Dakota for 4 years and in that time received a BA in Anthropology which has provided me the experience and knowledge of helping people in holistic ways. My passion for giving children the encouragement they need to succeed is paramount for me. I believe that because children are our future, it is a necessity that they have every resource to achieve their dreams. I am the oldest of six children and have a two year old myself, and that alone has put me in a position to be a leader, a good example, and a mentor.
