Teaching has always been my passion & I enjoy every minute. I believe that all children can learn given the oppurtunity to learn verbally, kinesthetically or whatever way they learn best. Although I have recently graduated with a degree in business, I am interested in pursuing a career involving people. My previous employment was a sales position that was very customer-oriented. I also have 3 years of experience helping children by teaching swimming lessons. Assisting my 15-year-old sister with her school work is also a regular activity. I believe in a teaching style that reflects a student's learning style. Whether they learn best by hearing, seeing, or doing it is important to cater to the student. My teaching style works around this philosphy and tends to be a combination of all 3 styles.

As a Metropolitan State University graduate from the Urban Teacher Program, I have earned my minor in early childhood education and my BS degree in elementary education. My degree has allowed me to gain full comprehension in many areas of readers and writer’s workshop, math, reading, english, psychology, language arts and history. For eleven years, I have strived to educate the students in the Twin Cities area through employment with Saint Paul Public Schools, volunteering and tutoring.
