I want to do my part in society, and make life better for others. I want to reassure children that they can reach their goals. Many children loose confidence in themselves if they have a hard time understanding school material. I want to tutor and restore that confidence. A Little Bit About Me...

I love to learn, and love passing that on to others. I am a patient personality, and I may present a problem to a student to evaluate where they are. From there, we can go either backwards or to more advanced work. Education is very important for myself and for my children, and I like to instill that learning takes you further in life than where someone may have not even dreamed. I am amazed at seeing cashiers who can't make simple change, or someone who can't calculate a small percentage in their head, such as 10% of a number. I want children to learn and have a feel-good attitude with their accomplishments.

I am currently a senior at University of Mississippi. I graduate May 08, 2010 with a BA in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. I have tutored 4th graders at Della Davidson Elementary School in Oxford, MS in Reading and Social Studies. I love interacting with the students and found great reward in doing so.
I love to assist individuals of all ages. However, I love working with children simply because everything children learn while they are young, will remain with them when they are older.
