I have also authored ACT test items and units for various textbook companies. I design, and deliver workshops for teachers across the state of Mississippi as a teacher/consultant for the National Writing Project. I want to do my part in society, and make life better for others. I want to reassure children that they can reach their goals. Many children loose confidence in themselves if they have a hard time understanding school material. I want to tutor and restore that confidence. I want to get to know each student and figure out the way that they learn the best. I want to incorporate that into my way of teaching so that they can understand.
