Employed at Oakland Community College 2010-2011. I have been a tutor at OCC since 2010, but have had a lot of private experience prior. My methods are very effective, yet unconventional. This serves both you and me very well because I like what I do and you get the knowledge you're seeking. I can always understand a student's individual needs because I have been around such a large variety of learning styles. Also, I believe that a "set" lesson plan is worthless for English because who's to say that everyone with a specific problem is not understanding it for the same reason? One person may not understand the use of paragraph formation for a completely different reason than the next. Casual, but very effective.

I began as an intern and held various writing and editing jobs throughout my tenure, ultimately departing as editor in chief. My writing has been recognized on the national and statewide level by the American Collegiate Press and the Michigan Press Association. I recently graduated with a B.A. in journalism.
